Three queens accompany King Arthur to Avalon in a sacred boat on his final journey after being mortally wounded by Mordred. He waits there until Britain requires the once and future king again.

The Isle of Avalon is one in my series of "Camelot Legends" images. It is done in mixed media consisting of Dr Martin's Dyes and Berol color pencils. The border was added digitally and isn't part of the original artwork.
