Hello, I am Melissa A Benson, an Alternate Reality Fantasy Illustrator and Fine Artist. I design and create colorful, realistic paintings for fantasy art collectors, RPG gamers and Pagan art collectors. My unique style comes from using oils and colored pencils or, for black and white work, graphite and charcoal pencils. There are a lot of Celtic influences and Pagan allegories in my work and I specialize in anthropomorphic creatures. Many will recognize my name from the gaming industry for creating powerful and imaginative illustrations for many top collectible card game (CCG) publishers. Hello Miriam. Dr Irving Stein took the photo. He took many slice of life photos in NYC where he lived. This is one of many. The rest need to be cleaned up and posted. I work on them as I find the time. Check the replies on some of the other comments for more information.

Hallo Melissa,I am confused about who took this picture,2 nuns in the snow.did you take it or was it dr. Irving Stein???lovely picture, very relaxing but whats the story of this picture???Please, tell me...thanks!!
Melissa A Benson
Hey Karen, The photographer is my best friend's grandfather and I knew him well and always liked his photographs. He was a dentist by trade. There are more photos that I have to clean up, and put up. All his photos passed down to her and I have her permission to put them up. Thanks for the feedback!

Hi, Melissa, Thanks for identifying the photographer. This is a beautiful image. Do you know if he has other photographs? Was this just a hobby? I know there was a professional photographer by the name of Fred Stein in NYC around the same time.

Melissa, this is a great photo, but I don't understand how you can be selling it. This is the work of some other photographer, unidentified, uncredited, and not you. Correct?
Melissa A Benson replied:
Hi Lyn. No, not correct. I do identify him as the photographer in the description, credit him properly and state that the image is used with permission. This photo and others I have were taken by my best friend's grandfather Dr Irving Stein from New York, NY. They were passed down to her and are her property. I have permission from her t sell them. I also knew this wonderful man quite well.
